People around the world are cheering on our Olympic athletes as they compete in this year’s games in Japan.
The competitors have been in training for years. They have honed their skills, improved their fitness levels, learned how to deal with both success and setbacks, such as injuries.
During the games, those taking part have just one goal, to win!
Like those athletes we must always have our eye on the finish line. The Apostle Paul called us to run our race of faith in such a way that we may win (1 Corinthians 9:24), press on ‘toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus’ (Philippians 3:14) and ‘run with endurance the race that is set before us’ (Hebrews 12:1).
As we watch the games on our TV screens and other devices, let them motivate us to run our race of faith and remind us to keep sharing the Good News about Jesus with others.
Our new summer Gospels make sharing easy – order yours today and remember, we can send you some for free if you ask us to.
In Jesus,
Darren
Ps- If you’ve never shared Gospels before and would like some tips then our free Evangelism Boot Camp can help.
