When was the last time you visited someone in prison?
Fortunately, most of us have no conception of what it means to be behind bars, but Jesus identified himself with prisoners and their suffering (see Matthew 25: 36-39), and spent gruelling hours as a captive immediately prior to his crucifixion.
Prison can be a miserable place, but it is also a place where people get the time to reflect, think about their past, and search for a better future.
At The Pocket Testament League we love to equip people to share the Gospel in every context, including with prisoners, so that they can know about the freedom they can find in Jesus and the new life He has to offer them.
Each year, thousands of PTL Gospels of John are shared in prisons around the UK and many are coming to a saving knowledge of Jesus as a result.
Our prisons Gospel Pack is a fantastic resource for any context but especially for chaplains or anyone with a prison visiting ministry. Why not order some today and bring hope to someone in need?
If you want to help us to equip chaplains and others with a prison ministry with the Gospels they need then please make a donation here.
