In Luke’s Gospel we read the story of Zacchaeus the tax collector who was so short that he climbed a sycamore tree to see Jesus above the crowd that greeted him in Jericho.
As he walked by, Jesus looked up, told Zacchaeus to climb down, and invited himself to Zacchaeus home for dinner! The people grumbled because they hated tax collectors like Zacchaeus who cheated them out of their money. Why would Jesus want to go to his house?
In Luke 19:10 Jesus gives us the answer – ‘…the Son of Man came to seek and save those who are lost’ (NLT).
Here in the UK there are millions of people who are lost and need to hear about Jesus and it should motivate us to action.
Nahom from Leeds contacted us:
‘I want to share these Gospels with young people. I’m 22 and I see loads of people my age who are lost and are struggling with their identity…I was lost but thanks to my Lord and Saviour I’m now found.’
Let’s do what we can to help those who are lost find Jesus. Order Gospels today!
In Jesus,
Darren
Ps- Many young people ask us to send them Gospels for free. Could you help to sponsor them as they share Gospels with others? Donate here.
