Do you remember the day you gave your life to Christ?
Pamela from Surrey shares her wonderful story:
‘I was 16. My Mother had walked out on us and left me alone with my Dad. I wanted to kill myself, but a friend said to read Revelation before I decided to go through with it… (I thought she was nuts).
‘The only Bible I had at the time was a New Testament and Psalms from school. I opened it at the back looking for Revelation and found Psalm 27:10:
Though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me.
‘It hit me like an express train and I called out to the ceiling – IF THAT’S TRUE then take me up! Nothing happened, but I slept like a baby for the first time ever…At work the next day someone who had been praying for me told me I had been saved so I went to Church with her to find out what I had done. That was 1970.’
Whether it was yesterday, or many years ago like Pamela, take some time to think back to the miraculous moment that God stepped in and saved your life.
