So many people are struggling with addiction throughout this pandemic with pressures on all fronts; relationally, financially and spiritually.
Being locked up behind closed doors can become a breeding ground for bad habits.
People are reaching out for comfort and in their moment of weakness find a quick fix which can quickly lead to addiction and captivity.
Isaiah 61:1 says, ‘The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, for the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to comfort the broken-hearted and to proclaim that the captives will be released and the prisoners will be freed.’
